Inconsistencies & Errors in the Qur’an

The belief in Islam rests entirely on the claim that the Quran is the perfect, unerring, timeless, unchanged, and complete word of god related directly to Mohamad over 23 years in the 7th century. So if this were true, then there couldn’t be any mistakes or inconsistencies in the Quran or the religion. However there are many, many inconsistencies, and this means the Quran, and this Islam, is very difficult to believe if one is willing to apply critical thinking.

Here are just a few of those issues:

1. This first one is the only one that doesn’t apply specifically to the Quran, but why is it that the salah requires salawat on Mohamed, so was he doing salawat on himself during prayer? Or was this an addition later and therefore the salah is NOT exactly how he did it, despite the claims that it is a perfect replication? Additionally, if the salah is so important, and the Quran is a PERFECT manual for all of mankind, why doesn’t it explain how to make salah? It’s not perfect and complete if it needs additional text and context.

2. What kind of god needs to abrogate their words? Why put it in the Quran in the first place a ruling and then later change it when god could just recommend avoiding it and ease into making something forbidden…
